Welcome! Please feel at home to peruse this blog. It is a personal notepad, reference, archive, portfolio and maybe more.
I will write in it if and when I feel like it but if you enjoy an eclectic selection of technical notes, project descriptions, opinion pieces, holiday stories and maybe more then enjoy your time. If anything catches your attention then please contact me
, it would be great to hear from you.
I grew up on the North Shore of Auckland City, New Zealand. I attended Rangitoto College and then Auckland University on a full scholarship. I received a Bachelors Degree of Engineering prior to commencing study for a PhD degree in applied mathematics at Cambridge University, also on a full scholarship.
I currently reside in Cambridge, UK, and am enjoying exploring Europe. In between travel and the distractions of a student life, I mathematically model metal forming processes, predominantly with analytical methods. More generally, I am interested in making things, whether it is websites, mathematical models, life hacks or something else entirely.
